Role Summary

The Supply Chain supervisor is responsible for the direct performance of the warehouse and distribution functions, leading a team to drive continuous improvement, maintain quality compliance, and resolve performance-related issues in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing needs to support 24/7 production and receiving, shipping, and returns activities. Monitor daily work operations and provide direction to group leaders and staff to achieve departmental goals. Manage performance processes for direct reports.
  • Maintain a safe and secure facility ensuring employee safety and product integrity. Ensure cleaning and housekeeping of warehouse areas are in compliance.
  • Maintain efficient and compliant operations to ensure readiness to meet any internal, customer, or regulatory audit.
  • Maintain all Quality, Regulatory, Financial and Global Trade compliance requirements for the area and ensure full compliance with FDA, DEA, OSHA, GTC, TSA and other regulatory expectations.
  • Coordinate training and maintain 100% training compliance in an FDA regulated environment.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and cycle counts for all materials to support business functions.
  • Troubleshoot and execute problem solving with minimal supervision.
  • Support quality deviations and safety investigations. Develop, review and update standard operating procedures as required.
  • Work cross-functionally to support all business initiatives, such as OpEx, special projects, training, talent acquisition & development, goal setting and performance management
  • Expected to meet assigned KPIโ€šร„รดs and assure capacity, systems, and technology can support the process; identify and manage continuous improvement projects to optimize process, improve efficiency, and execute cost savings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€šร„รดs degree required in a Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business related field
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • 2-3 years supervisory experience
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of GMP standards and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication, critical thinking, and business etiquette skills.
  • Computer proficiency including SAP/ERP systems and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
