Role Summary
The Supervisor, Supply Chain is responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities of workers associated with pharmaceutical distribution operations within the Distribution Center, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing and shipping. The role ensures timely and efficient distribution of products while managing subordinates to achieve full customer satisfaction. The role interacts with other department managers and supervisors, freight carriers, and supply vendors.
Responsibilities
- Oversees inbound and outbound activities and subordinates to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments
- Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules
- Reviews and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates
- Addresses Customer Service and Sales departments issues related to the outbound operations
- Creates and/or compiles composite reports of details related to outbound operations from system data, systems generated reports, and individual reports of subordinates
- Any other related duties as required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of supervisory/management experience in distribution center operations in large-scale distribution environment or 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in a pharmaceutical distribution environment or related healthcare/perishable product field; or equivalent combination of experience that gives the individual the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to do the job

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Additional Requirements
- Travel Requirements: On demand working hours related to product launches, physical inventories or any other special projects
- Physical Requirements: Regularly walk and stand; lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently; up to 25 pounds; up to 50 pounds occasionally; climb, stoop, or kneel occasionally
- Visual Acuity: Perform activities such as computer work, data preparation and analysis
- Working Environment: May be required to wear PPE on site visits (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves)
