The Line Supervisor II will work in a high-performing pharmaceutical finishing operation to meet production requirements while maintaining safety and quality. Supports setup, changeover, packaging, and equipment troubleshooting on multiple packaging lines. Leads and works with peers daily on finishing lines and optimizes line resources to drive performance to meet or exceed production targets.
Responsibilities
- Satisfy responsibilities for the Line Supervisor I role.
- Manage line clearances for lot and list changes and blowing of the finishing line/equipment on multiple value stream(s).
- Work as a direct team member or Production Technician on assigned line as required.
- Back up and support to Operations Coordinator.
- Train Line Supervisor candidates as qualified Subject Matter Expert.
- Identify, implement, and drive process improvements to reduce human error, increase OEE, and enhance yield.
- Communicate and drive improvement opportunities through cross-functional teams with close alignment to the production schedule and line priorities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 4+ years closely related cGMP manufacturing experience preferred.
- Technical certificate or degree preferred.
- Technical experience and troubleshooting aptitude preferred.
- Business acumen to apply cross-functionally.
- Goal-oriented leader; self-motivated; sense of urgency; can influence teams without direct authority.
- Demonstrated performance as an LS I for 1β2 years.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance with site policies and procedures.
- Ability to escalate and communicate issues to Operations, EHS, Engineering, and Maintenance.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs/applications.
- Understanding/experience with ERP, MES, etc. preferred.
- Ability to stand 8β12 hours/day and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Work 40β48 hours/week; may work up to 60 hours depending on demand.
