Role Summary

Summer 2026 Gastroenterology Medical Affairs Internship. Located in Horsham, PA. Internship within the Gastroenterology Therapeutic Area (GI TA) Medical Affairs Internship focusing on practical scientific and analytical experience in inflammatory bowel diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with GI TA staff supporting ongoing projects
  • Assist with activities associated with study start-up, publications for J&J-sponsored studies, etc.
  • Participate in ongoing GI TA team meetings
  • Be exposed to various other functions within the larger Medical Affairs/Research & Development/Commercial organizations (Immunology)

Qualifications

  • Required: Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing undergraduate or graduate study in PharmD, PhD, MPH, NP/PA or other masterโ€™s programs
  • Position based in Horsham, PA; ~8 hours per day, Mondayโ€“Friday (40-hour week)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel with table/graph generation, PowerPoint); strong oral and written communication
  • Desirable: SharePoint and other IT systems knowledge; experience with PubMed and literature databases
  • Preferred: Academic and/or industrial clinical trial experience
  • Participation in campus/community service activities is desired

  • Strong analytical and scientific communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and literature databases

Education

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs relevant to the role (PharmD, PhD, MPH, NP/PA, etc.)
