Strategic Planning & Operations Sr Mgr - Global Customer Capabilities & Innovation
Role location: Thousand Oaks, CA or Deerfield, IL (on-site minimum 3 days/week).
What you will do
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Director of Strategic Planning & Operations and GCCI Leadership Team; translate strategy into execution across business planning, operational excellence, organizational effectiveness, governance, and transformation initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor and force multiplier to drive alignment, accountability, and business outcomes.
Specific responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: track progress to annual goals; monitor milestones; identify risks/dependencies/opportunities; recommend actions.
- Business Planning & Performance Management: partner with Finance/HR/leaders on planning, budgeting, workforce planning, resource allocation; develop KPIs/dashboards/executive reporting.
- Operational Support: coordinate leadership operating rhythms, action plans, governance processes; ensure clear deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: facilitate cross-functional initiatives; coordinate leadership meetings/workshops/events.
- Project Oversight & Execution: project manage initiatives; track milestones/deliverables/risks; escalate issues proactively.
- Leadership Team & Planning Support: coordinate materials and readiness; maintain visibility to decisions and actions.
- Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation: improve ways of working; simplify processes; enable adoption of innovative technologies/AI.
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate + 2 years; or Master’s + 4 years; or Bachelor’s + 6 years; or Associate’s + 10 years; or High school/GED + 12 years in Strategic Planning & Operations.
Preferred Qualifications (selection)
- Experience supporting senior leaders/leadership teams (Strategy & Ops, Chief of Staff, Business Ops, Consulting, Program Mgmt).
- Experience with business planning, budgeting, workforce/resource planning, performance management.
- Strategic thinking, strong project management, executive communication.
- Experience with KPIs/dashboards, data/analytics/AI, organizational change and transformation; influence without authority.
