Strategic Alliances Lead will build and nurture partnerships with thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, and academic institutions for the CNS portfolio (Headache disorders and Parkinson’s Disease).
Essential Functions:
- Thought Leader Engagement: Develop/maintain relationships with KOLs; collaborate on scientific exchange, educational programs, and awareness initiatives; identify/prioritize collaboration opportunities (advisory board follow-up, speaking engagements, congress attendance).
- Patient Advocacy & Community Engagement: Serve as regional liaison to advocacy organizations; partner on educational campaigns, patient access initiatives, and community outreach; represent the company at advocacy events, conferences, and forums.
- Academic Partnerships & Fellowship Programs: Cultivate relationships with academic centers to expand movement disorders/headache programs; tailor educational resources for emerging healthcare professionals; align partnerships with corporate goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support CNS Regional Sales Managers with strategic guidance/tools; partner with Sales Training, Commercial Marketing, and Medical Affairs; work with Compliance to ensure initiatives align with requirements/policies; partner with Commercial Operations to track/measur e program success.
- Product Launch & Portfolio Promotion: Support launch and ongoing promotion of new headache therapy and existing Parkinson’s portfolio; develop/execute plans to improve product awareness and uptake.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (Required)
- Master’s (MBA) (Preferred)
- 5+ years in pharma/biotech (alliance management, advocacy relations, or field-based sales/leadership)
- Experience in Headache and/or Parkinson’s therapeutic areas
- 5+ years cross-functional collaboration; strong understanding of regulatory/compliance environment
- Strong knowledge of Parkinson’s Disease and/or neurology therapeutic areas (highly desirable)
Compensation/Benefits (as stated): Base salary $170,000–$185,000/year; short-term incentive (bonus/performance award) within first 12 months; comprehensive health/insurance benefits and significant 401(k) matching.
