Role Summary

Strategic Account Director role focusing on driving growth and maximizing sales across hospital and non-hospital channel partners, including GPOs, large Oncology practices, independent Urology practices, and imaging service providers. Remote position open to US applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on the Lantheus vision and strategy with channel customers; collaborate cross-functionally to drive product development and create and leverage business opportunities.
  • Champion and instill company and cultural values; ensure initiatives align with Lantheus’ culture and goals.
  • Execute key channel strategies aligned with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and translate insights into actionable strategic plans.
  • Extensive experience supporting Large Urology, Nuclear Medicine and Prostate Cancer sites.
  • Identify and evaluate potential channel partners (GPOs, distributors, wholesalers, retailers) to expand market reach and enhance distribution.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop joint programs, incentives, and promotions to drive channel partner engagement and sales.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure achievement of commercial objectives; proactively communicate with internal stakeholders to plan and revise project deliverables.
  • Execute strategic planning for long-term sustainability; ensure processes and projects meet compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive contract negotiation and administration, including business case development, implementation, and performance measurement; manage time for regular account visits and quarterly business reviews.
  • Provide consultative support to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrate judgment and leadership to navigate market challenges and organizational changes in medical, regulatory, and business environments.

  • Contribute to development and execution of the corporate strategic plan with sound judgment.
  • Build relationships with internal and external thought leaders, KOLs, and partners essential to product and business success.
  • Effective verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to make enterprise-wide decisions and remain focused on priorities.

Required

  • Typically 15+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s; or 12+ years with a Master’s; or PhD with 8+ years; or equivalent.
  • 10+ years in escalating roles within regulated life sciences organizations.
  • Minimum 3 years leading successful teams or in a Director-level National Accounts role.
  • Extensive commercial experience in therapeutics or diagnostics, including launch experience.
  • Strong understanding of hospital systems and regulatory/compliance frameworks.

Preferred

  • Experience with GPOs, Health Systems, and large account management.
  • Clinical/technical knowledge in radiopharmaceuticals, oncology, urology, and future trends.

Other Requirements

  • Routine overnight travel based on business needs; frequent weekend work may be required.
  • Valid driver’s license
