Role Summary

Strategic Account Manager - Vaccines (Remote) role within a global healthcare company, focusing on management of large, complex vaccine accounts and strategic contracts. Responsible for leading account strategy, building cross-functional partnerships, and driving revenue targets across health systems and large healthcare organizations. Remote work with US coverage; location includes Washington DC/Baltimore MD area.

Responsibilities

  • Assume a leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross-functional internal and external team members, and manage each as a business partnership on behalf of the company. Build a strategic account plan and deploy resources to drive value co-creation and meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and manage trust-based relationships with external stakeholders to generate revenue through genuine partnerships. Understand customer business, pressures, priorities, challenges, and opportunities, including their business model, strategic goals, healthcare environment, competitors, and financial levers.
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities within accounts, develop growth strategies, align teams, and sustain executive relationships. Conduct business coaching and strategy sessions with account teams to facilitate value co-creation and internal alignment; act as central focal point for account planning, strategy, resource allocation, and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • Strong understanding of health system business and decision-making processes; proven track record with C-suite to D-suite engagement
  • Ability to translate health system knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
  • Experience executing tactical initiatives, providing ongoing feedback, and prioritizing multiple projects
  • Experience with P&T committees and decision-makers in hospitals, health systems, IHNs, and other large customers
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; self-directed with excellent execution and planning skills
  • Adaptable to changing environments; excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle safely
