Role Summary

Strategic Account Manager - Vaccines - Nashville, TN (REMOTE) role within a high-level Strategic Account Management organization focused on largest and most complex vaccine contracts and strategic customers in health systems, IHNs, medical groups, PBGs, FQHCs and state Awardees.

Responsibilities

  • Assume the leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross-functional internal and external team members as needed. Build a strategic account plan for assigned accounts and deploy resources within the organization to drive value co-creation and meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage and grow relationships with external stakeholders to generate revenue through partnerships within Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers. Develop understanding of the customer’s business, pressures, drivers, priorities, challenges, and opportunities; maintain knowledge of their business model, strategic goals, healthcare environment, competitors, and financial levers.
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities within accounts by developing growth strategies, team alignment, and executive relationships with internal cross-functional teams. Conduct business coaching and strategy sessions to facilitate value co-creation and account growth; serve as central point of communications for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation, and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • Broad understanding of health system business, decision-making processes, and market trends; proven track record of engaging C-suite to D-suite decision makers
  • Ability to translate health system market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and manage multiple projects
  • Experience working with P&T committees, decision makers, and influencers in hospitals, health systems, IHNs and other large-organized customers
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; self-directed with excellent execution and planning skills
  • Adaptable to shifting environment; excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must possess valid driver’s license, be eligible for insurance coverage, and able to operate a vehicle
