Role Summary

Strategic Account Manager - Vaccines, Dakotas/Nebraska. Remote/Field role focused on leading strategic accounts and managing high-value vaccine contracts within health systems, IHNs, medical groups, PBGs, FQHCs, and state awardees.

Responsibilities

  • Assume the leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross-functional internal and external team members as needed. Build a strategic account plan for assigned accounts and deploy resources to drive value co-creation and meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage and grow trust-based relationships with external stakeholders to generate revenue through partnerships within Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers. Develop deep understanding of the customer’s business, pressures, priorities, challenges, and opportunities; maintain knowledge of their business model and strategic goals within healthcare.
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities, develop growth strategies with the customer, facilitate cross-functional alignment, and serve as the central point of communications for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation, and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • Broad understanding of health system business, decision-making processes, and market trends; proven track record of engaging C-suite to D-suite decision makers
  • Ability to translate health system market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Experience with P&T committees, decision makers, and influencers in hospitals, health systems, IHNs, and large-organized customers
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and self-direction with excellent execution and planning skills
  • Adaptability in a shifting environment; excellent written and oral communication
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle

Travel

  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to customers, conventions, training, and internal meetings
