Role Summary
Strategic Account Manager - Vaccines for Dakotas/Nebraska. Remote/Field role focusing on leading strategic accounts, building account plans, and driving revenue with Sanofi’s largest and most complex vaccine customers.
Responsibilities
- Assume the leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross-functional internal and external team members as needed. Build a strategic account plan for assigned accounts and deploy resources within Sanofi to drive value co-creation and meet/exceed revenue targets.
- Manage and grow relationships with external stakeholders to generate revenue through partnerships within Sanofi’s largest customers. Develop understanding of the customer’s business, priorities, challenges, and opportunities, and stay informed on their healthcare environment, value-based care, competitors, and financial levers.
- Identify and qualify high-value opportunities by collaborating with customers to develop growth strategies, align teams, and strengthen executive relationships. Conduct business coaching and strategy sessions to facilitate value co-creation and maintain internal alignment and account growth. Serve as the central point of communication for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation, and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
- Strong understanding of health system business, decision-making processes, and market trends; proven ability to access C-suite to D-suite decision makers
- Ability to translate health system market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
- Proven ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and prioritize multiple projects
- Experience with P&T committees, decision makers, and influencers in hospitals, health systems, IHNs, and large organized customers
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; self-directed and organized with excellent execution and planning skills
- Adaptable to a shifting environment; excellent written and oral communication
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle safely
