Role Summary
Strategic Account Manager - Vaccines - Dakotas/Nebraska (Remote/Field). The role focuses on managing strategic vaccine contracts and leading account plans for Sanofi's largest and most complex customers, including health systems and networks. The SAM partners with cross-functional teams to drive value creation and revenue growth within assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
- Assume the leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross-functional internal and external team members, building a strategic account plan, and deploying resources to meet/exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and manage a network of external stakeholder relationships to generate revenue through partnerships within Sanofi’s largest customers; understand the customer’s business, priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Identify and qualify high-value opportunities, drive growth strategies, coordinate team alignment, and engage executives; coach account teams to co-create customer value and ensure ongoing internal alignment and account growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
- Broad understanding of health system business, decision-making processes and market trends with a track record of engaging C-suite to D-suite decision makers
- Ability to translate market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
- Strong execution, prioritization, and communication skills
- Experience with P&T committees, decision makers, and influencers in hospitals and health systems
- Self-directed, organized, and adaptable with strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle
