Role Summary

Strategic Account Manager - Vaccines role focusing on leading and growing relationships with Sanofi's largest and most complex vaccine customers, developing strategic account plans, and coordinating cross-functional resources to meet revenue targets. Remote/field-based in Charlottesville, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Assume the leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross-functional internal and external team members as needed. Build a strategic account plan for assigned accounts and deploy resources to drive value co-creation and meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and manage a network of trust-based relationships with external stakeholders to generate revenue through partnerships within Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers. Understand the customer’s business, priorities, challenges, and opportunities, including their position within the healthcare environment.
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities, develop growth strategies with customer and internal teams, and co-create customer value. Serve as the central point of communications for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • Experience engaging with health-system executives (C-suite to D-suite)
  • Ability to translate market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
  • Strong execution, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Experience with P&T committees, hospitals, health systems, IHNs and large customers
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Self-directed and organized with excellent execution and planning skills
  • Adaptable to shifting environments and strong written and verbal communication
  • Must have valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle
