Role Summary

Strategic Account Manager- Vaccines is a field-based role focused on leading key accounts, developing strategic account plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive value and revenue for vaccine programs. You will manage relationships with health systems and large customers, translate market insights into strategic initiatives, and help advance immunization efforts on a global scale from a remote/field location.

Responsibilities

  • Assume the leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross-functional internal and external team members as needed. Build a strategic account plan for assigned accounts and deploy the appropriate Sanofi resources to drive value co-creation and meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and sustain trust-based relationships with external stakeholders to generate revenue through genuine partnerships with Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers. Understand the customer’s business, priorities, challenges, and opportunities, including their position within the healthcare environment and financial levers.
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities within accounts by working with the customer to develop growth strategies, align teams, and strengthen executive relationships. Conduct business coaching and strategy sessions to facilitate co-creation of customer value and ensure ongoing internal alignment and account growth.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required: 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • Required: Broad understanding of health system business, decision-making processes, and market trends with a proven track record of accessing C-suite to D-suite decision makers
  • Required: Proven ability to translate health system market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
  • Required: Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Required: Broad field sales experience with demonstrated success with P&T committees, decision makers, and influencers in Hospitals, Health Systems, IHNs, and other large-organized customers
  • Required: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; self-directed and organized with excellent execution and planning skills
  • Required: Adaptability in a shifting environment; excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Required: Valid driver’s license, eligible for insurance coverage, and ability to safely operate a vehicle
  • Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
  • Preferred: Strong data analytics
  • Preferred: Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting, or Finance
  • Preferred: Proficiency with MS Office and customer management databases
  • Preferred: Experience leading teams with demonstrated impact and influence with key internal stakeholders
