Position Summary:
Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to drive strategic alignment with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Academic Centers of Excellence, and large nephrology group practices to integrate clinical pathways and advance rare glomerular disease care.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning and execution across target healthcare organizations; align clinical, operational, and economic priorities.
- Identify/prioritize key accounts using market opportunity, institutional fit, and engagement readiness.
- Develop tailored account engagement plans and reviews to elevate rare kidney disease care models.
- Build high-value relationships with C-suite leaders, directors, nephrologists, P&T stakeholders, care pathway leaders, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Facilitate co-development of best practices for clinical pathways, early diagnosis, and care transitions.
- Identify opportunities to expand access, improve diagnosis rates, and support durable kidney preservation.
- Orchestrate cross-functional coordination with Medical Affairs, Field Medical (MSLs), Marketing, TLLs, Sales, Patient Advocacy, HEOR, Patient Services, and Market Access.
- Lead internal business planning (unbranded education, peer-to-peer, REMS coordination, clinical protocol implementation).
- Capture/synthesize insights and track/report account metrics (pathway adoption, patient ID trends, engagement outcomes, resource utilization).
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree (MBA/MPH/MHA/PharmD/MS) preferred.
- Minimum 8 years in pharma/biotech/healthcare; nephrology, rare disease, or specialty care preferred.
- Proven strategic account management or field-based leadership.
Required/Preferred Skills:

- Cross-functional leadership, consultative selling, strong executive relationship-building.

- Field-based; must live in region; travel ~60% domestic/international; face-to-face work and ongoing credentialing for territory facilities/sites.
