Role Summary
Strategic Account Manager, Chicago. Location: US Remote/Field. The SAM team supports Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers, guiding the operational and logistical aspects of the Tzield patient journey. The role connects key account stakeholders to enable decisions and implement solutions, develops deep account knowledge, and identifies gaps impacting Tzield utilization. The SAM educates on requirements for integrating Tzield into operations and fosters cross‑department collaboration to enhance the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Educate stakeholders on operational aspects of Tzield administration and integration, sharing best practices to align on needed resources and determine appropriate internal pathways/processes for Tzield utilization.
- Share insights and best practices from publicly available resources to support infrastructure planning for Tzield.
- Develop a deep understanding of each account’s T1D care landscape, including screening, evaluation, and treatment logistics.
- Collaborate with Sanofi teams to create and execute strategic account plans to ensure comprehensive account support and help establish the account as an effective site of care.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree
- Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
- Required: Broad understanding of healthcare business, with proven track record of C- and D-suite engagement
- Required: 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
- Required: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Required: Robust business acumen and ability to develop and execute strategic plans
- Required: Have a valid driver’s license

- Required: Travel up to 80% of the time to customers, conventions, training, and other internal meetings
