Role Summary

The Staging Production Technician supports filling, inspection and packaging operations by managing inventory and performing SAP transactions. This role involves placing received materials into storage, moving pallets within cold and warm rooms, completing logbooks, and ensuring accurate inventory records in GMP-compliant manner. It requires operation of material handling equipment, coordination with multiple logistics stakeholders, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and maintaining inventory: receive production materials, verify against orders, store appropriately, perform SAP transactions, and keep inventory locations neat with periodic reconciliations.
  • WIP and FG Handling: physically move pallets (not inspected filled, inspected filled, SUFI, finished goods), maintain cold storage logs, and process SAP transactions in near real time as pallets move.
  • Cold Room/Freezer Inventory Management: keep cold rooms/freezers orderly, store pallets safely, perform SAP transactions for pallet movements, and ensure SAP reflects physical inventory.
  • Warm Room Inventory Management & Experimental Use: manage MDO/experimental items between rooms, perform SAP transactions for movements, and maintain cold/warm room logs.
  • Material Disposal: process material disposal orders into disposal containers, coordinate with waste dock, and communicate completion for proper system close-out.
  • Compliance: maintain required certifications/licensure for equipment, complete training modules and safety/compliance requirements per company system.
  • All Other Duties Assigned: perform additional tasks as directed to support operations.

Qualifications

  • Education/experience (Required): High school or equivalent with 2 years in cGMP/pharmaceutical/warehouse environment; or Associate’s with 1 year in cGMP/pharmaceutical/warehouse; or Bachelor’s with 0–1 year in cGMP/pharmaceutical/warehouse.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a cGMP area; familiarity with SAP, Ishift, Qualipso, Opstraker, ERP systems; good mechanical and computer skills; detail-oriented; basic mechanical aptitude; troubleshooting and manual dexterity; certifications; forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Education

  • HS or equivalent with 2 years in cGMP/pharmaceutical/warehouse experience; or Associate’s with 1 year; or Bachelor’s with 0–1 year.
