Discover Your Role
- Perform Product Revenue accounting activities, including journal entries for sales, gross to net deductions, and receivables; balance sheet reconciliations; and detailed trend analysis of product sales related deductions.
- Own preparation and analysis of Corporate Accounting schedules and balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned areas, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Partner with Finance to ensure completeness and accuracy of accruals and reclasses.
- Participate in the Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials ERP implementation and ongoing optimization efforts, including UAT, process design, process documentation updates, and identification of automation opportunities.
- Support accounting transformation and process improvement using technology, automation, and data analytics.
- Analyze financial results, investigate period-over-period fluctuations, and prepare variance explanations for Management.
- Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls, including the Prepaid Expense Accounting Policy.
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements (documentation, control execution support, and internal/external audit requests).
- Assist with special projects, financial analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This Role May Be For You If You
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure preferred.
- 1β3 years of general ledger accounting, audit, or corporate accounting experience (public accounting and/or publicly traded company experience preferred).
- Preferred: ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and large datasets; Oracle GL, Oracle Fusion, SmartView, Hubble, or similar tools are a plus.
- Strong GAAP knowledge; analytical mindset; organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable in fast-paced environments; can manage multiple priorities.
- Interest in leveraging technology/automation/data analytics to improve accounting processes.
