Corporate Functions
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in month-end close by preparing journal entries and accruals; estimate amounts to accrue/defer/reverse/change based on historical data and business knowledge.
- Reconcile account balances for assigned accounts; prepare supporting documentation.
- Calculate royalties and rebates for assigned accounts; prepare supporting documentation for review.
- Research discrepancies and work with team members to resolve issues.
- Gather support for interim, SOX, and year-end audit requests.
- Perform Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions cross-functionally, independently driving tasks to completion.
- Improve internal processes and documentation clarity.
- Increase efficiency through process automation.
- Partner with other functions to improve end-to-end process understanding and communications.
- Back up other accounting staff to support staffing needs and department goals.
Education & Experience / Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Accounting with 0โ2 years relevant experience (or Associateโs in Accounting with 2โ4 years, or an equivalent combination).
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, multi-faceted spreadsheets) and strong numeric aptitude.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or UIPath is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented; good communication and problem-solving skills.
