Sr. Therapeutic Specialist, HIV Treatment- Sacramento

Role: Senior Therapeutic Specialist within Gilead's HIV Treatment team, responsible for representing Gilead's products to healthcare providers, driving sales growth, and expanding market presence in a designated geographic area. Core responsibilities include building strong provider relationships, executing territory business plans, and promoting Gilead’s therapies while ensuring compliance with industry guidelines. The role emphasizes in-person engagement, clinical education, and collaborative cross-functional teamwork with medical, reimbursement, and partner organizations. Qualifications: 6+ years' experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales with a BS/BA or 4+ years with an MS/MA; proven sales success in competitive markets; deep therapeutic area knowledge, preferably in HIV or specialty products; excellent communication, account management, and collaboration skills; ability to work independently with travel as needed. Preferred: BA/BS degree, experience with injectable physician-administered products, familiarity with managed care landscape, and a history of exceeding sales targets. This role requires cultural competence, ethical conduct, and dedication to patient-centric care, with a focus on HIV therapies. The position supports the Sacramento territory, involves regular travel, and emphasizes inclusive, team-oriented leadership and development.
