Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including related financial reporting matters.
- Prepare periodic reconciliations of tax general ledger accounts.
- Assist with SEC reporting (tax disclosures within Form 10-Q and 10-K).
- Manage and/or assist with preparation of US Federal, state, foreign income tax and non-income/informational returns with third-party service providers.
- Maintain worldwide tax compliance calendar with third-party service providers.
- Calculate and prepare quarterly Federal and state estimated tax payments.
- Prepare annual R&D/Orphan Drug Credit calculations and related IRC 174 R&D capitalization for domestic tax purposes.
- Research, document, and present findings on issues affecting the Company’s worldwide tax structure.
- Assist in review and maintenance of tax policies and controls in accordance with SOX 404.
- Work with finance and legal to gather information and understand company activities.
- Assist with tax-related forecasting.
- Manage and/or prepare non-income filings (e.g., VAT, sales and use tax, property tax).
- Assist with initiation, management, and implementation of tax planning projects.

Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years corporate tax or public accounting experience (Big 4).
- CPA required; Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred.
- BA/BS in business/accounting/finance or related discipline.
- Knowledge of tax laws/regulations; ability to reach well-reasoned conclusions.
- Ability to educate/train financial management.
- Demonstrated project/program management.
- Proactive, self-motivated; good judgment in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.
- Critical attention to detail.
- Sound interpersonal, communication, organization, and analytic skills.
- Strong US corporate tax; general understanding of international tax.
- Expert proficiency with Excel.
- OneSource (OTP) tax provision software knowledge plus; Life Sciences experience plus.
