Sr Supply Chain Specialist (Global Clinical Supply Chain Delivery)

Responsibilities:
- Manage global clinical supply delivery activities (depot, site, cross-border shipments) to support study timelines and patient supply continuity.
- Independently analyze shipment/inventory/distribution risks and resolve issues using data-driven decision-making.
- Manage stock transfers, returns, adjustments, and discrepancy resolution across depots, sites, and distribution networks.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, depots, couriers, freight forwarders, and external partners to optimize shipment execution and resolve issues.
- Support document upload and functional QC reviews for eTMF filings.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure deliveries and documentation comply with cGMP, GDP, SOPs, safety practices, and import/export requirements.
- Develop tracking tools, dashboards, metrics, and standardized processes to improve delivery visibility and operational performance.
- Support business process improvements, system enhancements, ERP/IRT initiatives, and operational excellence.
- Review/approve business-critical documentation (shipment records, material transfer requests, purchase orders, work orders, and delivery documents).
- Mentor/train less experienced team members.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Business/Life Sciences/Engineering or related + at least 5 years relevant experience.
- OR Masterโ€™s (MS/MBA/MA or equivalent) + at least 3 years relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology/clinical supply chain in a highly regulated industry.
- Experience with global clinical trial planning, shipments, depot/site resupply, and cross-border distribution.
- Import/export, customs clearance, temperature-controlled logistics/cold-chain and excursion management.
- ERP implementation/optimization (e.g., Oracle/SAP), inventory systems, and system integration; strong planning/inventory/distribution process improvement; global/cross-functional initiative experience; metrics/dashboard/standardized work; mentoring/training.

Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong planning/organizational skills; advanced supply chain/distribution knowledge.
- Excellent communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP), IRT, shipment tracking, Veeva Vault, Smartsheet, advanced Excel.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, GDP, SOP compliance, and quality documentation.
- Ability to work across geographies/cultures; influence stakeholders and drive issue resolution in a matrix environment.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated):
- Salary range: $117,895.00 - $152,570.00; may include discretionary bonus/stock incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
