Sr. Specialty Representative
What You Will Do
- Serve as liaison to customers by providing clinical knowledge of products to medical professionals.
- Execute marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
- Provide current, comprehensive clinical knowledge and communicate clinical and economic benefits.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving/exceeding sales targets.
- Manage and service accounts by ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Analyze sales effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn.
- Use disease-state awareness and stay current on industry, regulatory, and competitive changes to deliver agreed results.
What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience
OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience
OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device product or hospital sales in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases
- Local market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
- Adaptability with: Planning/Organizing; Leveraging business/industry/technical knowledge; Communicating with impact; Driving for results; Cultivating internal/external relationships

- Expected annual salary range: $109,631 - $148,325 (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico) + Total Rewards Plan (health/welfare, financial plans, work/life balance, career development)
