Sr. Specialist, Technical Support

Role: Senior Specialist leading Operational Technology (OT) and industrial automation within regulated biopharma research and manufacturing environments, supporting biologics development and clinical production. Responsibilities: design, implement, and support automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, MES, PI Historian), oversee infrastructure modernization, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with scientists, engineers, vendors, and quality teams to enhance system reliability, security, and operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance with GMP, GxP, and cybersecurity standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or equivalent experience; minimum 5 years supporting process automation in regulated environments, with strong expertise in DeltaV, Rockwell PLCs, virtualization (VMware), industrial networks, and OT cybersecurity; experience supporting C&Q activities and validated systems in pharma or biotech settings. Preferred: extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GxP compliance, and system validation.
