Role: Project Engineer/Lead responsible for managing medium-sized (over $5M) engineering projects within biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Objectives include developing and executing engineering solutions to ensure site strategy, product supply, and project delivery quality. Responsibilities encompass leading cross-functional teams, managing project scope, budget, schedule, and risk, and delivering technical engineering outputs such as Process Flow Diagrams and System Specifications. The role may serve as Engineering Lead for smaller projects or Project Manager for larger ones, overseeing CAPEX and OPEX initiatives. Requirements: BS in Engineering, 3+ years in technical project management or engineering with experience leading teams of 5+ members, developing budgets, and managing project scope and procurement. Preferred: EIT or PE licensure, PMP certification, and experience with cGMP manufacturing systems such as bioreactors, chromatography, filtration, HVAC, and automated systems. Stakeholders include internal departments and external vendors such as A&E, Construction, and Validation firms. The position is based in Brooklyn Park, MN, with infrequent travel (up to 50%) and occasional off-shift work. Physical demands include site visits and PPE requirements.
