Position Description:
- Lead MES Process Area activities translating pharmaceutical process knowledge into executable, compliant, data-driven manufacturing systems using Syncade MES.
- Drive digital-first GMP operations and long-term ownership of foundational MES/EBR capabilities.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Own the MES technical agenda for process areas from design through operational readiness.
- Shape digital batch record design; challenge assumptions and align engineering, operations, and QA.
- Provide MES system ownership and support model leadership during manufacturing start-up phases.
- Support risk assessments, deviation investigations, and MES-enabled problem resolution.
- Partner with Operations, QA, QC, Engineering, Automation, and Validation for integrated execution and issue resolution.
- Build scalable best practices/playbook for broader site and MES network impact.
- Develop and deploy training so operators become confident MES users.
- Use MES-generated process data for continuous improvement, performance trending, and operational decision-making.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, including 2 years in a GMP or equivalent regulated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience working across multi-disciplinary teams in Automation/MES.
- Full-time U.S. work authorization required; employer will not sponsor visas.

Preferences:
- Prior electronic batch record implementation experience (preferred).
- Ability to critically evaluate technical issues, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Clear oral and written communication with all organization levels.

Additional Information:
- Fluent in English.
- Fully on-site in Lebanon, IN; 8-hour shift, 5 days/week; occasional night/weekend work.
- Travel generally not exceeding 10%.
