Sr. Principal - Engineer - HSE (Process Safety)

Role: Process Safety Engineer supporting the construction and operational phases of a new API manufacturing facility, focusing on process safety management during site development and GMP operations. Responsibilities: develop and implement safety management systems, support hazard analyses (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA), and ensure safety compliance during construction, commissioning, startup, and ongoing operations. Collaborate across disciplines including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and HSE; contribute to safety program development and continuous improvement. Requirements: bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, or related field; minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing with knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA RMP standards, and Process Safety Management regulations. Preferred: certifications like CCPSC or PE, experience facilitating hazard analyses and interfacing with regulatory agencies.
