Role: Provide intellectual property support for Small Molecule research and development programs, focusing on patent drafting, prosecution, and strategy development. Responsibilities: serve as the primary IP partner, identify inventions collaboratively, draft and manage U.S. and international patent applications related to small molecule drugs, conduct strategic patent due diligence, review publications for IP impact, and manage multiple patent matters through to completion. Requirements: PhD in organic chemistry or related field; relevant experience in patent law, ideally with in-house or law firm background in small molecule drugs; registered to practice before the USPTO; strong understanding of patent prosecution and excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Preferred: experience with global patent strategy and working with external partners.
