Sr. Mgr, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

Role: Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting, leads the preparation and review of SEC filings, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Objectives include maintaining reporting accuracy, governance, and disclosure quality, supporting the company's financial transparency and compliance infrastructure. Responsibilities encompass overseeing quarterly and annual reports (Forms 10-Q/10-K), current reports (8-K), earnings materials, and SOX controls; managing technical accounting analyses for complex transactions; refining disclosure frameworks; and driving process improvements with automation initiatives. Collaboration involves working with the Corporate Controller, CAO, CFO, external auditors, legal, and cross-functional teams. High-value specifics: 10-12 years of experience in public accounting and/or public company reporting, CPA preferred; expertise in SEC filings, U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and accounting policies; familiarity with biotech/pharma industry regulations; experience with ERP and disclosure systems; and leadership in complex accounting areas like equity and financial instruments. Work setup is typically office-based with demanding accuracy and governance standards.
