What You Will Do
- Be a credible medical/scientific expert engaging with Key Medical Experts (KMEs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to increase confidence in clinical decisions regarding disease state and Biogen’s products.
- Build deep, strategic, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be responsive and solutions-driven, serving as a conduit to leaders in the medical community.
- Engage in projects and/or initiatives aligned to US Medical strategy, objectives, and tactics.
- Deliver against qualitative and quantitative medical excellence performance goals; execute KME engagement plans; navigate resources with field and non-field colleagues.
- Capture and report KME/HCP medical insights using Veeva accurately and consistently to inform medical/clinical strategies.
Who You Are
- Scientific/clinical professional with passion for science and deep scientific knowledge; curiosity about healthcare and business opportunities; collaborative and able to solve critical scientific and business challenges.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree required; Doctoral (MD, PhD, PharmD) preferred.
- Effective communication (concise, confident, credible; empathetic listening; adjusts to audience).
- Must reside within the territory: TX, NM, and CO.
- For Senior MSL: minimum 5 years’ experience as an MSL or similar role in pharma/biotech.
- Digital potential: comfortable with technology and new tools/systems.
- Accountability: delivers against goals; motivated to meet/exceed metrics and KPIs.
- Ethical: understands and follows industry rules for patient benefit.
- Travel at least 60% (overnight and occasionally weekends).
- Age 18+; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.
Preferred Skills
- Neuropsychiatry experience.
- Experience in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment.

Compensation (as stated)
- Base compensation range: $165,000.00–$221,000.00; may include short-term and long-term incentives (cash bonus and equity).
