What Youโll Do
- Provide strategic medical leadership for dermatology lupus programs across development, launch, and lifecycle management.
- Build and maintain partnerships with global medical dermatology experts and healthcare providers.
- Lead cross-functional medical strategy aligned with clinical and commercial objectives.
- Generate and integrate medical insights for global/regional strategic planning.
- Oversee medical activities: advisory boards, scientific education, and research initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical development and operations to optimize site engagement and identify centers of excellence.
- Partner with scientific communications on publication strategy and data dissemination.
- Drive collaborations with external stakeholders, including healthcare organizations and patient advocacy groups.
- Champion innovation and collaboration within Global Medical Affairs.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Scientific/clinical professional with expertise in Dermatology.
- Comfortable traveling 30โ40% to engage external stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Bachelorโs degree in life sciences (or equivalent).
- 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience (HQ Medical Affairs and/or Field Medical preferred); relevant Dermatology clinical practice may substitute.
- Experience in Dermatology required.
- Ability to develop/execute medical affairs plans; build collaborations with medical experts.
- Knowledge of U.S. and international Medical Affairs regulations.
- Agile/self-motivated; excellent verbal and written communication.
- Track record delivering results.
Preferred Skills
- MD/PhD/PharmD.
- Medical launch and lifecycle experience; leadership/collaboration across global/regional/affiliate medical teams.
- Strong project management.
