Sr. Manager US Payroll

Role: Senior Manager, US Payroll overseeing end-to-end payroll operations for multi-state employees, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and process efficiency. Responsibilities: manage bi-weekly payroll processing, including off-cycle payments, tax filings, reconciliations, controls, and audit readiness; optimize payroll systems and workflows; partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and external vendors; lead process improvements and system enhancements; support organizational changes impacting payroll; develop payroll reporting and metrics; mentor payroll team members. Requirements: Bachelor’s in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related; 8-10+ years in complex U.S. payroll, preferably within SOX-compliant organizations; expertise in Workday Payroll/HCM; knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage laws, and multi-state payroll; CPA or CPP certification preferred; strong leadership, controls, and compliance skills.
