About The Role
Sr Manager, Programming Infrastructure & Analytics Enablement (Programming team). Reporting to the Senior Director. Identify, implement, manage, and optimize data analytics solutions aligned to Programming’s strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Build R-based tools to accelerate clinical analytics delivery.
- Enable automated analysis and reporting of clinical trial and related data to improve efficiency, throughput, quality, and compliance.
- Develop technical solutions (packages/utilities/macros) to accelerate statistical programming of clinical trial data.
- Identify, onboard, and help evaluate/pilot technologies for current and future analytics/visualization needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to propose technical solutions supporting automation and standardization.
- Lead technical implementation (proofs of concept and solution architecture designs).
- Lead initiatives and manage priorities/resources with minimal supervision.
- Custodian for clinical trial and stakeholder data to support storage/archival/retrieval/reporting, data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead change management for system/tool/process maintenance/upgrades, adhering to CSV and quality standards.
- Mentor teams; stay current on data analytics techniques and pursue professional development.
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Biostatistics/Statistics/CS/Data Science or related + 8+ years relevant experience; or MS + 6+ years in statistical programming/analytics in pharma/biotech clinical development.
- Strong R proficiency (pharmaverse/tidyverse); working knowledge of CDISC and clinical data structures.
- Experience developing reusable R utilities/macros/packages; experience with SAS and Python and R package development.
- Modern software engineering (version control, CI/CD) and cloud familiarity.
- Working knowledge of CSV and GxP compliance.
- Proven initiative leadership, risk escalation, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail.
