Sr Manager, Oncology Business Assessments

Role: Senior Manager in Business Assessment within Pfizer's Global Commercial Analytics, focusing on generating independent pipeline and business development investment cases, primarily in Oncology but with potential scope across multiple therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include building and owning comprehensive commercial forecasts—encompassing epidemiology, patient flow, treatment patterns, pricing, and risk analyses—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure model rigor and transparency. The role requires defending assessments, including potentially recommending against opportunities, and providing strategic input for deal structuring. The Senior Manager also leads or co-leads BD subteams, integrating forecasts with pipeline data, and using AI tools for evidence synthesis and quality control. Additional duties involve designing primary market research, supporting portfolio-level projects, and contributing to enterprise initiatives. Qualifications include 6+ years (Bachelor’s) or 5+ years (Master’s) in biopharma, life sciences consulting, or analytical roles, with advanced Excel skills, experience in quantitative commercial modeling, and familiarity with epidemiology literature and market data. Preferred skills include prior biopharma forecasting experience, an MBA or advanced life sciences degree, AI tooling proficiency, and knowledge of healthcare industry trends, especially in Oncology. The position is hybrid, with a focus on influencing senior stakeholders, supporting cross-functional teams, and working effectively in a matrixed organization.
