Job Description Summary:
Delivery Lead for Kite within the IT Data & AI Center of Excellence (CoE), driving adoption of Data, Analytics, and AI capabilities for life-changing therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance data solutions across AWS and Databricks.
- Define and enforce data engineering standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
- Design, develop, and maintain ELT pipelines using AWS services, Apache Airflow, and Databricks.
- Drive platform evolution via AI-powered automation to improve data workflows and operational efficiency.
- Manage data models and schema design; lead schema evolution and data integration across systems.
- Act as SME for technical inquiries; provide strategic guidance.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure data quality via validation, cleansing, testing, monitoring, and issue resolution; establish metrics/SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and retention requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in CS/Data Engineering/Data Science (or equivalent); 3β6+ years Data Engineering; 2+ years complex data science/AI-ML/analytics at scale.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript or Go/Rust; TDD and CI/CD; modern engineering practices.
- CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions), Docker, infrastructure-as-code, cloud-native patterns.
- Hands-on AWS experience (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, Bedrock, Databricks Unity Catalog).
- Databricks (Spark), Airflow, Tableau, Genie Spaces.
- AI coding tools (Claude Code/GitHub Copilot/Cursor) and LLM-serving platforms (e.g., Cortex AI); prompt engineering.
- Healthcare data privacy/security and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Ability to scale systems across ML infrastructure and agentic AI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT), oncology, rare disease, or specialty pharma.
- Multi-agent workflow/orchestration experience; MCP and agent governance; interoperability.
- High-throughput inference, batch scoring, low-latency APIs, scalable agent platforms.
- Enterprise/API integration for end-to-end automation and analytics.
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Salary range: $146,200.00β$189,200.00; may include discretionary bonus, stock-based incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
