Role Summary
Sr. Manager, In Silico First Program & Strategy Management. Lead the In Silico First (ISF) program and strategy across global Pharm Sci initiatives, overseeing roadmaps, governance, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsible for program execution, metrics, stakeholder alignment, and integration of in silico models with experimental data. Location: Cambridge, MA. Up to 10% international travel; up to 75% remote work permitted.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage roadmaps and strategic plans to advance the ISF program, aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the initiative, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of projects.
- Collaborate with and influence stakeholders, including PharmSci Capability Owners in global suites and local functional teams for alignment and scalability across the global framework.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive adoption of innovative methodologies while maintaining regulatory compliance with evolving guidance.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics to gauge success and ROI of the ISF roadmap and ensure alignment with strategic business goals.
- Lead resource planning, budget management, and timelines across Pharm Sci functional areas.
- Manage external vendor partnerships to enhance execution and scalability of PSST initiatives.
- Support Change Management efforts to facilitate transitions to new processes and technologies, ensuring stakeholder engagement and minimizing disruptions.
- Drive strategic communication to ensure clear understanding and support of the In Silico First paradigm across the organization.
- Provide technical expertise in in silico model development, applying best practices and cutting-edge methodologies.
- Serve as an embedded in silico Subject Matter Expert in select lighthouse projects.
- Drive development and validation of computational models, leveraging deep in silico expertise; ensure integration of in silico models with experimental data and workflows to enhance predictive accuracy and productivity.
Qualifications
- Required: Ph.D. in Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences or related field, plus 2 years of related experience. Experience contributing to global strategic roadmaps and frameworks (e.g., Pharm Sci Digital Strategy and R&D Integrated Digital Strategy); ability to manage project timelines and deliverables; coordinate with departmental, functional, and external stakeholders; lead change management strategy for In Silico First and Aedifica Fortis; oversee day-to-day operations of related portfolios; drive technical projects integrating in silico models with experimental data to improve productivity.
Additional Requirements
- Up to 10% international travel required for meetings, subject matter consultation, and site visits for program oversight.
