Role Summary

Sr. Manager, In Silico First Program & Strategy Management is responsible for leading the In Silico First (ISF) program strategy and roadmap, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and delivering on program goals. The role oversees day-to-day operations, ensures timely delivery of projects, and collaborates with global and local stakeholders to align initiatives across the organization. It includes driving adoption of innovative methodologies, managing resources and budgets, and providing technical expertise in in silico model development and integration with experimental data.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage roadmaps and strategic plans to advance the ISF program in alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the ISF initiative, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with and influence stakeholders, including PharmSci Capability Owners in global suites and local functional teams, to ensure initiative alignment and scalability.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive adoption of innovative methodologies while maintaining regulatory compliance with evolving guidance.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to gauge ISF roadmap success and ROI, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead resource planning, budget management, and timelines across Pharm Sci functional areas.
  • Manage external vendor partnerships to enhance execution and scalability of PSST initiatives.
  • Support Change Management efforts to facilitate transitions to new processes and technologies with stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive strategic communications to ensure clear understanding and support of the In Silico First paradigm across the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise in in silico model development, applying best practices and cutting-edge methodologies.
  • Serve as embedded in silico Subject Matter Expert on select lighthouse projects; drive development and validation of computational models.
  • Ensure integration of in silico models with experimental data and workflows to enhance predictive accuracy and productivity.
  • Travel up to 10% internationally for meetings, consultations, and site visits; remote work up to 75% is permitted.

Qualifications

  • Required: Ph.D. in Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences or related field, plus 2 years of related experience.
  • Required: Experience contributing to the creation of global strategic roadmaps and frameworks; ability to manage project timelines and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders; lead change management for In Silico First initiatives; collaborate with external vendors to support strategy execution; oversee portfolio operations for related programs; drive technical projects integrating in silico models with experimental data.

  • Ph.D. in Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences or related field
