Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary functional owner and steward of Workday Core HCM; manage Workday configuration, business processes, security roles, calculated fields, and data loads.
- Ensure Workday stability, data integrity, and optimal user experience; lead ongoing enhancements and continuous improvement.
- Lead Workday implementation activities (design, testing, deployment, adoption), partnering with vendors and stakeholders; translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Facilitate Workday governance, release management (impact assessments, testing, deployment), and production support/issue resolution.
- Maintain Workday security frameworks and role-based access controls; support HR data governance and data quality; support internal/external audits.
- Develop and enhance Workday reporting, dashboards, and analytics; support integrations and data exchanges.
- Partner cross-functionally (HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, Compliance) and lead a Workday Community of Practice across recruiting, performance, compensation, time tracking, absence, and benefits.
Required qualifications/skills:
- 8+ years supporting a global HR system of record/ERP (HR or IT).
- 4+ years supporting Workday within HR.
- Experience configuring Workday Core HCM (processes, security roles, calculated fields, reporting, data loads, tenant administration).
- Ability to translate HR/business requirements into scalable solutions; Workday implementation/optimization/testing/release/post-production support.
- Strong HR data management, security, audit/privacy, and data governance knowledge.
- Project management, analytical/problem-solving, and communication skills; work effectively across global organizations.
- Bachelorโs degree in HR, IS, Business, Technology, or related field.
Preferred:
- Global Workday implementation/transformation experience; regulated industry (biotech/pharma/healthcare).
- Workday certifications; masterโs degree.
