Role: The position is a Financial Solutions Analyst within Gilead's Global Financial Solutions team, focusing on General Ledger accounting for designated entities and RTR processes. Objectives include ensuring ledger integrity, financial compliance with US GAAP and SOX, and supporting global financial reporting and audits.
Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, manage month-end close processes, review multi-currency transactions, perform account reconciliations, and support financial controls and audits. Engage with stakeholders across finance functions and support strategic initiatives like automation and process improvements. Assist with acquisitions-related accounting and contribute to KPI and performance monitoring.
Qualifications: Qualified accountant with at least 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a BA/BS in accounting, CPA or CMA designation preferred. Expertise in US GAAP, multi-country RTR environments, and SOX compliance is essential. Experience with SAP S4/Hana or similar ERP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
