Reporting to the RTR Senior Director, Global Financial Solutions (GFS), responsible for General Ledger accounting for one or more entities/RTR process areas within the Global GFS team.
Job Duties:
- Develop relationships with global market finance stakeholders (FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Controllership, SOX); establish credibility and influence diverse audiences.
- Maintain ledger integrity and ensure financial compliance with the Worldwide Controllerβs manual and applicable laws/regulations.
- Ensure records comply with US GAAP; maintain internal controls and follow company policies/procedures.
- Manage and direct accounting close and financial reporting for assigned markets.
- Timely, accurate review/approval of month-end close and accounting transactions (including multi-currency), and perform P&L/Balance sheet analysis, reconciliation, and resolution.
- Lead RTR GFS priorities and contribute to KPI definition/maintenance and performance monitoring.
- Support acquisitions through in-scope GFS accounting.
- Drive continuous improvement (automation, straight-through processing, efficiencies).
- Support auditors and provide data/communication for quarter/interim/year-end audits.
- Coordinate Balance Sheet Reviews with Controllership; support monthly operations decks and monthly flux reporting packs.
- Monitor SOX-aligned accounting controls for all assigned markets.
- Ability to travel is necessary.
Knowledge, Experience, Competencies (Requirements/Qualifications):
- Qualified accountant (or equivalent) with multi-country RTR experience understanding general accounting in a multinational environment.
- Strong technical accounting expertise; RTR experience preferred.
- US GAAP knowledge plus statutory and tax reporting knowledge.
- Preferred: CPA or CMA (or equivalent).
- 8+ years relevant experience; BA/BS in accounting (MBA or equivalent a plus).
- SOX compliance experience.
- Proven analytical/critical thinking; self-starter with integrity and teamwork; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP beneficial; proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Co-pilot).
- English communication required; multi-functional, multi-time-zone, multi-cultural collaboration.
