Job Description:
Senior Manager (or Associate Director based on experience) for Corporate Development team to lead strategic partnerships across oncology, virology and inflammation. Reports to the Executive Director of Corporate Development and is part of the core Corporate Development team.

Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of corporate development opportunities involving strategic partnerships, investments, licensing, and/or acquisitions.
- Partner with key stakeholders across therapeutic areas (research, clinical, commercial, finance, program strategy) to develop business proposals aligned with Gilead’s mission and growth strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong external relationships with potential partners.
- Coordinate diligence efforts and scientific reviews; review opportunities and business cases with Gilead management.
- Lead negotiations (with support) of term sheets and contracts with identified partners.

Desirable Skill Sets:
- Strong knowledge of drug development and biotech/pharma industry.
- Experience supporting transactions; familiarity with negotiations and the contracting process.
- Aptitude for quantitative analysis (forecasting, valuation).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience driving cross-functional efforts and presenting business cases.
- Passion for science and drug development.

Qualifications:
- B.S./B.A. + 6+ years relevant experience, or PhD/M.B.A./Masters/J.D. + 2+ years relevant experience (including biotech/pharma and/or professional services such as consulting/finance/legal/corporate function).

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Salary range: $169,320.00–$219,120.00; may include discretionary annual bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance).
