Sr. Manager/Associate Director, Cost Accounting

Role: Manager of Cost Accounting overseeing inventory and cost reporting for a biotech manufacturing company. Objectives include ensuring accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), implementing systematic cost accounting within NetSuite, and supporting financial analysis and reporting. Responsibilities encompass managing inventory cycles, BOMs, reconciliations, variance analysis, and leading the deployment of NetSuite modules for inventory and COGS. The role involves monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, collaboration on manufacturing variances, standard cost reviews, and partnering with FP&A for budgeting and forecasting. Requirements: 7+ years in cost accounting, preferably within biotech/pharma manufacturing, with experience in internal/external manufacturing costs; Bachelor's degree; familiarity with NetSuite; strong analytical and team collaboration skills. Preferred: Cost Accounting certification.
