The Sr. Global Supply Planner (GSP) is responsible for short-term, long-term, or end-to-end (E2E) supply chain planning and controlling the flow of product globally between manufacturing sites and distribution centers. The objective is to meet market demand and optimize inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
- Daily coordination with supply plants (internal/external) to ensure availability of finished product, bulk, APIs, or supporting materials.
- Support financial plan/long-range planning (LRP) cycles with required data and input.
- Coordinate and process inbound/outbound shipments; support S&OE via root-cause analysis and problem solving.
- Keep SAP and JDA up to date; inform customers timely of supply updates and risks.
- Participate in plant meetings to review/improve performance and respond to changes.
- Manage stakeholder relationships; influence others using SME knowledge; act as project lead when needed.
- Drive continuous improvements and participate in initiatives; propose ideas to address challenges in Global Supply Planner.
- Execute financial processes including hedging, inventory reserve review, and product scrapping.
- Support artwork changes by coordinating related supply activity.
- Onboard/train new employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs (preferably engineering/science, operations, supply chain, or business management).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication; strong organizational skills.
- Proven problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution; ability to step into leadership role.
- Persistent, resilient, and resourceful; resolves issues timely.
