Sr. Financial Analyst

Role: Senior Financial Analyst supporting Commercial and Medical units within Alnylam's FP&A team, focusing on financial planning, reporting, and operational finance activities. Responsibilities: maintain budgets and expense trackers, prepare monthly accruals, develop budget-to-actual analyses, analyze headcount variances, support forecasting and long-range planning, ensure data accuracy in financial systems, and drive process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; at least 3 years of relevant FP&A experience; strong Excel skills; understanding of accounting principles related to expense management; excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to handle confidential data. Preferred: experience with Adaptive reporting, SAP ERP, biotech/pharma industry, and process automation. High-Value: support for biopharma commercial and medical functions, emphasis on data integrity and scalable processes, hybrid work setup based in Cambridge, MA, with no explicit travel requirements.
