About The Role:
Contributes to the strategic direction and execution of new product launch training, the field sales training program, and advanced training programs including competitive selling, customer engagement, and product knowledge. Plans and executes national and regional sales meetings and other special projects. Partners with senior commercial/divisional sales leadership to assess field sales capabilities and recommend training methodologies. Designs, implements, and manages pilot projects to support product launches and ongoing commercialization.
Your Contributions:
- Drives design, development, implementation, and monitoring of multiple training curriculum/programs and materials (launch workshops, learning modules, customer engagement model, POA/regional meeting materials and agendas)
- Leads sales training with Marketing and cross-functional groups to create training materials supporting new products and sales tools
- Establishes objectives and leads development/administration of engagement techniques, presentations, product/product applications information, and role-play scenarios
- Develops training-related aspects for national and regional sales meetings
- Develops and leads onboarding of new field sales personnel (coordination with RSMs and internal departments such as IT, HR, Operations); improves Field Sales Training based on business needs and industry trends
- Manages personnel assessments, training initiatives, coaching, and development of new hires and regional field trainers
- Attends and may contribute to industry conferences to validate training program relevance
- Ensures training programs meet pharmaceutical industry standards of conduct and compliance; anticipates business/industry issues
- Recommends improved training delivery methods (e.g., distance-learning, e-learns, learning portals)
- Manages outside vendors and internal technical/product specialists for training programs

Requirements:
- BS/BA in business or technical field AND 8+ years pharmaceutical sales experience, including significant internal pharmaceutical sales training experience; significant vendor management and contract negotiation experience required
- OR Masterβs in business/technical field preferred AND 6+ years of similar experience
- Proven product launch experience required; CNS and/or psychiatry/anti-psychotic experience a plus; sales management a plus
- Expertise capturing/sharing best practices and translating them into sales training programs
- Exceptional communication; independent stance with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to translate/interpret data and metrics into business insight
- Extensive knowledge of sales training programs landscape; proven success implementing company-wide sales training methodologies
- Demonstrated facilitation skills
- Anticipates business/industry issues and recommends improvements
- Broad expertise/unique knowledge; considered an expert with possible external presence
- Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams; leadership/mentoring skills
- Excellent computer skills; excellent communications/problem-solving/analytical thinking
- Sees broader picture and long-term impact; meets multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency; excellent project management/leadership

- Base salary: $158,100.00β$216,000.00 (reasonable expectation)
