Sr/Exec Director GI Medical Strategy

Role: Senior or Executive Director, GI Medical Strategy at a clinical-stage oncology company, focusing on developing and executing medical strategies for GI cancers, especially pancreatic cancer. Responsibilities: lead cross-functional collaboration to develop clinical and evidence generation plans, serve as a GI oncology subject matter expert, build relationships with thought leaders, and oversee research initiatives including Phase 4 studies and registries. Requirements: MD, PhD, or PharmD with 8+ years in medical affairs or clinical development, strong expertise in GI cancers, excellent scientific communication skills, and experience with drug development processes. High-Value: focus on GI cancers, precision therapeutics, pancreatic cancer, Phase 4 research, external stakeholder engagement, and research leadership. Work Setup: hybrid in San Diego or South San Francisco, CA, or fully remote in the US; 20-35% travel.
