Role: Senior Director, US Medical Early Asset - Market Access, leading US access and value strategies for early pipeline assets (late discovery to Phase 2) within AstraZeneca's biopharma portfolio. Responsibilities: shape US payer-relevant target product profiles, influence clinical and RWE study designs, develop early value propositions, craft pricing hypotheses, co-create economic models, assess policy landscapes, synthesize payer insights, and support early forecasting and investment decisions. Act as US access voice on cross-functional asset teams, ensuring integration of payer, policy, and affordability considerations into asset development and investment. Requirements: Bachelor's in health economics, public health, pharmacy, or related; 8+ years in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or consulting with deep US market access expertise; strong understanding of US payer environment, HEOR, and evidence strategies; excellent influencing and communication skills. Preferred: Advanced degree (MPH, MS, PharmD, PhD, MBA), experience with early-stage assets, global asset strategy influence, and therapeutic-area expertise relevant to pipeline. The role involves strategic cross-functional collaboration, operating within US regulatory and compliance standards, based at Wilmington, DE with in-office presence expected three days per week.
