Role Summary

Sr. Director TS/MS - Small Molecule - Lebanon API. The Senior Director Technical Services/Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) LP1 Small Molecule Site is directly responsible for managing the site TS/MS function, providing administrative and technical leadership, and driving the siteโ€šร„รดs strategic direction and operational plans to deliver the manufacturing program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure the TS/MS function has capacity, capability, and leadership for the manufacturing plan; oversee startup, process validation, and pre-approval inspections.
  • Develop and execute strategic direction for the site in the medium and long term; drive the Lebanon small molecule technical agenda and support new molecule introductions.
  • Develop future technical leadership for the small molecule plant and potential international assignments; collaborate with Development groups on potential New Products or business.
  • Strategic and Site Management: lead all aspects of the small molecule TS/MS function, including new product introductions and optimization opportunities; contribute to site strategic/operational plans and ensure execution.
  • Build technical relationships with the Synthetic Molecule Design and Development organization; participate in key strategic decisions for the small molecule business.
  • Maintain all small molecule processes in a validated state meeting cGMP/regulatory requirements; ensure technical documents and reports are current and delivered on schedule.
  • People Management: ensure necessary resources and facilities; coach and mentor; manage assignments, workloads, training, performance, and career plans.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€šร„รดs degree in science or engineering (Advanced Degree preferred)
  • Required: 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience
  • Required: 3+ years of leadership experience
