Key Responsibilities:
- Lead an engineering team for front-end planning and design oversight of major manufacturing capital projects.
- Manage exempt-level staff (reviews, development plans, staffing/workload assignments, compensation reviews).
- Oversee departmental expenses and cost center management.
- Ensure projects align with corporate policies, financial/engineering/quality standards, and applicable safety, environmental, regulatory requirements.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture; participate in safety/environmental event reviews and corrective actions.
- Provide divisional leadership (leadership meetings, improvement initiatives, team-building).
- Oversee front-end planning (profiling/design phases), build/lead a design-oversight team, and influence global early-stage capital planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering (or related) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in manufacturing operations.
- Prior management experience; experience with asset delivery and site operations.
- International travel; valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications:
- API/drug product platform experience; familiarity with capital project design processes.
- Structured project management; strong stakeholder communication/influencing.
