Role Summary
Sr Director, Payer Marketing at Collegium Pharmaceutical. Lead development and execution of strategic payer marketing initiatives to support access, reimbursement, and pull-through across Pain and ADHD therapeutic areas. Shape and execute a comprehensive U.S. market access strategy, integrating payer perspectives into broader enterprise strategy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of all U.S. payer marketing initiatives, including value proposition messaging, payer tools, and access-oriented campaigns.
- Develop a holistic U.S. market access strategy and create tailored access approaches for public and private payers to drive product adoption and ensure patient access.
- Assess and proactively monitor pricing and reimbursement policy trends in the U.S. healthcare landscape and incorporate findings into strategy development and operational readiness plans.
- Maintain a forward-looking view on market access dynamics to anticipate challenges and opportunities for the Pain and ADHD markets.
- Identify key business drivers, customer priorities, and growth opportunities by leveraging in-depth knowledge of product positioning, competitive landscape, and stakeholder needs within the Pain and ADHD therapeutic areas.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner on cross-functional initiatives that have implications beyond Commercial.
- Collaborate closely with Field Sales, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to align and integrate access strategies.
- Support launch planning and execution with payer-focused strategies and materials to ensure access objectives are met at product introduction and throughout the lifecycle.
- Partner with training and field teams to ensure effective implementation and utilization of payer-related tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with significant time spent in U.S. payer marketing, market access, or managed markets roles.
- Demonstrated experience in the Pain and/or ADHD therapeutic areas preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. payer landscape including commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid environments.
- Proven success in leading payer marketing strategy and execution.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular, in addition to Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) required.
